The Denver real estate market continues to be very strong. Prices are appreciating due to a lack of inventory. The Denver market had approximately half the number of active listings in each month in 2013 as compared to 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.  The lack of supply has placed upward pressure on prices. Most Denver neighborhoods have regained the lost equity of the 2008 correction.

Interest rates continue to hover between 3% and 4% enticing buyers to make the purchase decision now, as apposed to waiting.  This is fueling increased housing starts and sustained development in all areas of residential real estate in Denver.
